LEADERSHIP
“We will enable your organization to bump operations up a notch and continue to flourish. Our job, however, is not complete when this has been accomplished. In fact, this is just the beginning of a long-term, mutually beneficial relationship.”
Justin Ver Burg, Co-Founder and Chief Marketing Officer
HISTORY
It all started in 1999 when Justin and fellow college student, Daniel Turner, spent the summer driving around Chicago in a rusty Honda Accord, asking businesses if they needed a Website. As you may know, back then, just having a site was a major milestone.
They had a few takers, and landed their first legal client, Law Offices of Kathleen T. Zellner, who according to her site, has “righted more wrongful convictions than any private attorney in America.”
It was the same year when Justin had the good fortune of being personally mentored for six months by David J. Ryfsnyder, who had just sold his family’s Website Development business for untold millions (height of the Dot Com boom), and wanted to give back by mentoring students at his alma mater, Wheaton College, where Justin was doing his undergraduate studies.
Mr. Ryfsnyder taught Justin fundamentals for quality design and marketing that still hold true today. Although technologies have advanced exponentially, the foundational prinicipals still hold true.
Justin and Daniel parted ways. Daniel Turner went on to work for Intel Corporation, where he is Lead Quality & Reliability (Q&R) Engineer/ Project Manager.
Justin moved back to his native Seattle where he founded Dot Com Design Group (now DCDG LLC), serving clients including Land Rover Dealerships of Washington State, top eCommerce companies, and even meeting in London with the U.K. government on behalf of King's Interactive (Cambridge, U.K.).
He's had the opportunity to continue his eduction in Computer Science through Harvard Extension School.
In early 2024, the company was re-named DCDG AI, and is narrowing its focus to a hybrid of Marketing and A.I.
